Dr. Grant brings more than two decades of executive leadership, community mobilization, and change management across nonprofit organizations and federal, state, territorial, and municipal government systems. His expertise includes organizational assessment, board development, fiscal oversight, strategic planning, federal grant compliance, and building partnerships that connect public agencies with community needs.

As Executive Director of Performing Tree, he led 80 employees and 22 educational programs, managed an annual budget of approximately $900,000, and eliminated $150,000 in debt within six months while strengthening board leadership. His work with YouthBuild USA, U.S. Department of Labor youth initiatives, and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention has included program improvement, youth development, violence prevention, and coordination among law enforcement, courts, schools, workforce boards, families, and community organizations.

His government experience includes Federal Occupational Health, the Department of Labor’s OASAM, USDA APHIS, the City of Los Angeles, and corrections systems in California, Oregon, Nevada, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He helps organizations translate policy and funding requirements into practical programs, prepare teams for change, and establish clear measures of performance.

Ministry Leadership, Chaplaincy and Community Restoration

Rev. Dr. Grant brings more than two decades of ministry, chaplaincy, pastoral care, and community service to work with individuals, families, congregations, and institutions. His experience spans spiritual-care leadership, grief and bereavement support, crisis ministry, theological education, and service to communities affected by violence, economic hardship, illness, and incarceration.

His ministry background includes leadership with Spreading Peace and Love Ministries and Oasis Rising Ministries, chaplaincy and pastoral counseling at City of Angels Church of Religious Science, and service to families affected by community violence through Metro United Methodist Ministries. He has supported patients and families, older adults, shelter residents, and people who are homebound, while teaching spiritual education and mentoring chaplain interns.

Drawing on doctoral preparation in psychology and divinity and extensive work with government and community systems, he connects compassionate spiritual care with organizational leadership, conflict resolution, and community restoration.
