Dr. Grant also has extensive experience in helping organizations better manage and resolve conflicts, improve communication between union employees and managers, help employees understand and commit to their organizations’ expectations and policies, and turn low morale into productivity and satisfaction.

He has had exceptional success in writing and delivering sensitive programs on issues related to workplace diversity, and fair labor standard laws.

Dr. Grant uses his training sessions to create a forum to discuss staff experiences, attitudes, perceptions, beliefs, and values concerning such topics as race, gender, ethnicity, culture, language, and background. 

Raised in Chicago and attending catholic grade and high schools he has always had a calling from spirit. He was close to attending Villanova University, in Philadelphia to be an ordained catholic priest but one of his plays received an option and instead went to New York and wrote, directed and produced several successful Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway shows.

While in New York, he discovered the New Thought Movement attending services and classes with the renowned Eric Butterworth. This movement truly gave him as Butterworth calls it, “an insight in truth”.

Oscar continued to study and take classes and as one of his productions received and option in Los Angeles, CA, he met the mystic and master teacher Rev. Dr. O. C. Smith in 1987. Rev. O.C. was his mentor and friend and Oscar pursued years of study at the City of Angeles Church of Religious Science.

In 2003, Oscar entered the ministerial program and graduated with honors and he holds a PhD in Bible Interpretation, and a PhD in Spiritual Counseling.

In January of 2009 he will open a mystery school in Marietta, GA where he now resides. Spreading Peace and Love Ministries is an extension of the forthcoming mystery school.
